Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Respond to enquiries from, and give advice to, applicants and offer holders (by email, phone and face-to-face) in order to ensure that they are fully supported through the admissions process from their first enquiry through to the point of registration.
2. Develop and demonstrate expertise in the evaluation of admissions credentials, organize and participate interviews for applicants, and coordinate evaluation process with various offices on campus.
3. Administer admissions processes to ensure that university procedures are followed and offers are delivered to students in a timely and consistent manner
4. Ensure the data accuracy in application system and work in collaboration with CRM support team to maintain high user satisfaction
5. Collaborate with academic departments and other support offices to ensure that all information of Master programmes on the website/brochure is accurate and up-to-date
6. Analyze admissions data and track progress against admissions goals, able to make recommendations on next steps
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal staff members
8. Recommend and contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes within the university
9. Participate in university Open Day, targeted university recruitment visits and other admissions promotional events, and other university-related projects
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Essential:
1. Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience or Master’s degree with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience
2. Strong planning and organization skills
3. Excellent communication skills and customer focused
4. Good knowledge of the higher education system in China and internationally, and good understanding of prospectus students’ needs
5. Excellent language skills in Chinese/English
6. Ability to work under pressure around key deadlines and be prepared to work overtime when required
7. Possess excellent IT skills and confident in information system usage
Desirable:
Experience of working in Higher Education sector and/or international organizations
