ZX Ventures, APAC is currently looking to hire an Associate Legal Associate Director based in Shanghai. As Associate Legal Director, ZX APAC, you will report directly to the Deputy General Counsel, Budweiser APAC and will be responsible for leading the legal function at ZX APAC across Asia, including China, India, Korea and Vietnam.
As Associate Legal Director, ZX APAC, you will:
· Care deeply about our work as professional lawyers and business partners
· Lead with ethics and integrity at all times through words and actions
· Collaborate effectively with internal teams while leading outside counsel
· Move quickly and feel comfortable having autonomy to lead projects and make decisions
Role and responsibilities:
· Evaluate, structure, negotiate, draft documents for and provide advice relating to venture investments and merger and acquisitions
· Lead cross-functional teams to complete transactions
· Lead legal due diligence across cross-functional legal areas such as corporate, commercial, IP and compliance
· Assist in negotiations of commercial and collaboration agreements in connection with strategic investments and partnerships
· Lead digitalization projects
Requirements:
· Minimum of 6-8 years working experience with MNCs and reputable law firms
· LLB or LLM degree from reputable law schools;
· Demonstrated practical and academic knowledge of venture investments and M&A transactions
· A proactive approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, and solving problems
· Excellent legal and business judgment and attention to detail
· Written and oral English fluency
· English as working language
· PRC Bar exam passed
