What you will do

You will work to support lead buyers in Volvo for responsible commodity & supplier in APAC. To be responsible for commodity, development and management according to global category team alignment as regional procurement input.
Work in global category team, lead or support regional/global activity and task from global backlog, secure transparent communication and global alignment.
Responsible for and lead cost management activity & objective, actively drive cross functional team to achieve common goal.
Manage daily work including ordering, delivery tracking, claims management.
Support SQM and R&D for escalated issues.
Manage Supplier capacity in life cycle.
Manage supplier product and tool order.
Support running production, work with cross functional team drive precise delivery and continuous improvement, jointly develop VQE strategy.
Support change management.
Regular evaluate supplier performance, enhance key supplier partnership.
Lead regional supplier development to contribute for global procurement objectives.
Other assignments by team manager and global category team

You and your skills
Bachelor degree or above with supplier chain/commercial management background.
3-8 years automotive experience in new energy system is preferred.
Fluent English in written and oral, with excellent communication skill
Profession and deep knowledge in sustainability and procurement
Automotive OEM and/or tier-1 procurement/purchasing experience is preferred
Need strong global mindset, proactive way of working
Demonstrated leadership, can lead cross functional team to achieve challenge target
Highly engagement, self-driven, result-oriented
Willing to support and share with others as team player, challenge with respect
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and insight in your specific area
Flexible in business travel and working hours (interact with EU/US team)
