岗位信息

Key Job Accountabilities:

This position directly reports to the Asia-Pacific Regulatory Affairs Director, as the key member of APAC RA team & SRC Department. The position has the following key responsibilities:     

·        Lead APAC regulatory compliance strategy, expertise and projects to support APAC innovations. 

1.      Develop robust regulatory compliance solutions covering APAC countries, with sound regulatory expertise, risk assessment and recommendation, to both upstream and downstream innovation projects and activities led by APAC R&I hubs and coming to Asia.

2.      Build the strong partnership and smooth working process with internal key stakeholders especially with Asia R&I labs to drive end-to-end regulatory compliance of product, ingredient and distribution in China and Asia. 

3.      Take the leadership of providing APAC regulatory compliance inputs to global SRCM teams especially worldwide Regulatory & Claim team, as well as collaborate each other on global regulatory projects.  

·        Lead the clear and consistent Asia regulatory expertise to support global regulatory compliance strategy and framework, ensure right regulatory assessment inputs into global compliance system and tools precisely and timely.

·        Develop update to date regulatory knowledge, training and networking programs for APAC compliance team and local Scientific Direction teams in Asia to build the effectiveness, expertise, capability and skills of APAC Regulatory Affairs Community.

·        Build the regulatory compliance knowledge and expertise for new territories based on business and innovation needs e.g. green science, device etc.

·        Cooperate with local SD teams and intelligence team to address RA issues and support issue and crisis management from RA perspectives. 

·        Manage APAC compliance team to drive team performance and grow RA talents. 

Key qualification requirement:

Education and Experience:

  • Scientific/technical back ground in related areas (cosmetic, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc.)
  • Over 10-year regulatory affairs experience with leading role in MNC preferably in cosmetic industry

Qualification:

  • Extensive knowledge of cosmetic regulations and technical requirements in China, Asia and worldwide, preferably with hands-on product registration experience
  • Strong strategic and logic thinking and communication skill to present regulatory solutions on challenging projects with internal senior leaders.
  • Ability to combine in-depth technical insight, specific regulatory context and sound risk mindset into a clear and understandable communications in both oral and written format
  • Strong leadership skill to develop RA vision, goal, strategy and project with good team engagement
  • Strong cross-function, cross-region collaboration to work in a dynamic environment
  • People management skill and experience
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • French and/or one other foreign language practice would be highly valuable.
