Roles & Responsibilities:
? All aspects of the learning design process: assessing curriculum needs, analysing learner background knowledge and instructional requirements, determining learning objectives and outcomes, and designing and developing instructional experiences that most effectively target learning outcomes.
? Conduct learning needs analysis for users as requested as well as across the spectrum of courses and programmes offered through the XJTLU-LM to ensure growth and development in potential learning tracks.
? Coordinate, consult, and collaborate with different XJTLU stakeholders as well as external partners to coordinate the development of bespoke user, group, and enterprise learning, upskilling, and training solutions as full package services.
? Providing advice and assistance to a range of internal stakeholders on the development and implementation of future online course programs, assessment plans and learning resources
? Deliver requested learning profiles to partners based on agreed deadlines and guarantee quality of suggested learning services.
? Provide advice on the growth of learning solutions to fit the needs of industry and the university.
? Proactively look for ways to improve service delivery and work with the team to suggest and introduce improvements.
? Support and contribute to the aims, objectives and performance of the XJTLU-LM Learning Experience as a whole.
? Contribute to enhancing the brand and reputation of the XJTLU-LM as well as that of XJTLU.
? Other tasks assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
? Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in education or related field, and experience with coordinating learner engagement and education;
? Experience in developing individualised learning profiles, packages or pathways preferred.
Required Competencies and Skills:
? Knowledge of learner support and development in education, specifically online education;
? Work well independently and collaboratively with colleagues, faculty and staff in a team environment;
? Fluent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese;
? Strong organisational skills, able to priorities tasks and meet multiple deadlines;
? Self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative.
? Strong sense of ownership and result driven.
? A fast learner willing to challenge traditional ideas around education.
