-Through state-of-the-art investigative methodologies, the UX Designer performs user research and develops and defines innovative ideas, taking into account legal and regulatory demands and boundaries. He enables the team to join him in user research methodologies and defines user journeys, personas, user stories, etc.
-Clarifies vague and abstract user concepts clearly, and leads the all stakeholders through the product vision.
-Independently initiates contact and consults with and influences key stakeholders outside and within BI, up to board members. Designs high fidelity visuals and interactions that the team can easily translate into code. Proactively drives decision making processes and defines proposals for new business models.
-Deal with high risk research topics and stakeholders to ensure a successful product design within heightened uncertainty. In this capacity, the senior drives the product all the way from research of unmet users’ needs to the final handover of the product as well as post-handover monitoring and analysis.
-Envisions the most innovative and disruptive products and enables the team to strive for high risk choices.
-Actively communicate and build the BI UX Chapter.
-Applying agile methodologies, the UX Designer creates, organizes and facilitates design workshops and design sprints to identify problems, potential solutions, and to align the team closely.
-In addition, the UX Designer is driving ideation and is responsible for creating prototypes that demonstrate the user flow and user interactions clearly, executes formative usability tests, and drives continuous discovery.
-Education/Degree Requirement: bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-Language skills & proficiency: Proficient in English
-Required capabilities (skills, experience, competencies):
-5 or more years of UI/UX design experience.
-Expertise in standard UI/UX software such as Sketch and InVision are a must.
-Ability to do thorough user research to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet users unmet needs, product vision and technical feasibility.
-Experience in continuously including the product team in the research and forming a user centric team.
-A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, formative user feedback sessions, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability studies.
-Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently with the team.
-Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders.
-A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
-Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
-Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions.
-Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
-Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism. Provide constructive feedback towards your colleagues
-Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
