We are looking for candidates at Manager or Senior Associate level in Risk Consulting – Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing/Sanctions Compliance team.

The candidates are expect to play an important role in advising our clients on AML and Sanctions compliance areas, including but not limited to designing policies, procedures and controls, performing AML risk assessment, validating or implementing AML systems and models, advising AML data governance related matters and solving other AML compliance issues by leveraging advanced analytic techniques. The candidates will also provide insights about AML and Sanctions compliance to our client’s senior management, manage projects and be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients. For the Manager candidate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. In addition, the candidates may have the chance to work on other compliance related work for financial industry clients.

We are now looking to recruit a Senior Manager or Manager or Senior Associate as an experienced member of the team responsible for Assets and Liabilities Management and associated business application. The candidate will assist with the development of ALM strategies, assessment of ALM risks (liquidity risk, interest rate risk or FX risks) as well as application of ALM in decision making such as balance sheet strategy, capital allocation, etc . Familiar with regulatory requirements and guidelines within ALM risks is a must. Understanding of FTP and Basel Capital Accord is a plus.

As a part of the team, you will be helping clients on:

• designing, enhancing and implementing ALM leading practice, such as digital transformation, asset and liability portfolio management, liquidity risk management and interest rate risk management.
• Enhancing treasury management process including inter-day liquidity and intra-day liquidity management
• drafting and enhancing related policies and procedures, and developing controls and compliance assessments
• performing customers segmentation and behavioural modelling using AI algorithms and big data analysis.
• designing and implementing regulatory reporting in liquidity risk and interest rate risk management.
• proficient with BI software, such as PowerBI/Tableau/FinReport etc.

As a Senior Manager or Manager or Senior Associate, you will be:

• leading the engagement team to provide high quality business insight and ALM program recommendation
• managing the project execution and delivery, making sure the project is delivered within the agreed/guaranteed timeline and budget
• Proactively identifying issues that could impact delivery and leveraging PwC network support as required
• Involving in developing our solution offerings, and marketing to external and internal clients.
• Assisting in developing training, engagement procedures and methodologies
• Coaching and developing staff

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree of MBA/Finance/Applied Mathematics/Accounting or relevant degrees
• A minimum of 5 and 8years experiences in ALM area with strong consulting mindset for Manager and Senior Manager, respectively.
• Strong knowledge of ALM regulatory guidelines and expectations.
• Sound mathematical modelling skills; thorough understanding of macroeconomic and market condition. Prior project management and/or consulting experience is required.
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving capabilities
• A proven ability to translate client objectives into deliverable design, and develop deliverables to address complex situations
• Group facilitation and presentation skills
• Developing colleagues through stretching objectives, feedback and coaching, contributing to their development and providing ongoing support
• Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to manage project budgets, and develop strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential
• Travel may be expected from time to time
