Role description:
Reporting to Head of Distribution China, this role is to support planning, developing and implementing the strategic and mid-term operation direction of Life Science operation model in China. The role is responsible for driving projects from idea to execution. He/she will be working with distribution function leaders and other key stakeholders to realize the operation excellence according to the business growth opportunity, competitive threats, evolving internal business requirements etc.
Essential Job Functions and Requirements
· Strategic Thinking -- Have a clear understanding of the business’ mission and vision and how the distribution contributes to these. Assessing strengths and weakness of operation process with proper mid-term plan addressed.
· Project Management – Initiate, lead, drive all LS distribution related projects by engaging key stakeholders from cross functions including ISCO, CE, Sales, TC&RM etc.
· Analytical Skills – Demonstrate exceptionally good analytical skills and an ability to translate raw information into actionable initiatives, process and achievable result.
· Communication – Since future operation excellence will affect many aspects of business, especially for customer service satisfaction, the role needs to effectively engage cross-functional stakeholders into project initiative, decision making and execution process.
· Collaboration – Require highly collaborative mindset and skills across multiple levels of the country and regional organization. Able to utilize a strong toolbox of the influence skills to effectively manage across a matrixed organization.
· Innovation – Leading, applying digitalization solutions in distribution while minimizing investments and optimizing capabilities.
Job requirements:
· Skills & Competences required
o Good team working skills
o Strong problem-solving capability
o SAP knowledge and implementation experience
o Good communication in ENG, written and oral
o Strong communication and negotiation skills
o Self-motivative with clear goal and target
o Cross functional project management experience
o Logical reasoning, numerical skills, technical skills
· Background
o Master / Bachelor degree, preferred in Logistic, Supply Chain or Engineering
o 8-10 year experience in supply chain, logistic in Chemical/Biologics and 3-5 years as the management role
o Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical customer’s expectations and business nature
o Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO & cGMP
o Ability to lead, coach and instruct others
o Six-sigma certification is a plus
o PMP a plus

o Proven strong influence skills with ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
o Experience with structured problem-solving techniques is desired
o Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo in a respectful/professional manner
